How do I register and begin using Schoolhouse Fare?
Please refer to the instructions/announcement sheet provided by your school or company from Schoolhouse Fare.  If you did not receive instructions please contact us at info@schoolhousefare.com.


What if my school or company does not participate?
If your school or company has not signed up with Schoolhouse Fare, you will not be able to use this service. Please contact your school’s or company’s lunch program coordinator and ask them to contact us for more information on how to sign up.


I forgot my username and password. How can I get this information?
If you have forgotten your password please click the "forgot your password” link and a new temporary password will be sent to your email.  You can also contact Support at support@schoolhousefare.com or 843-297-8030.


When are the menus posted?
The monthly menus are posted mid-month prior to the start of the lunch period. Email reminders are sent to each registered account prior to the posting date and before the due date.


How much time do I have to place my order?
The school’s ordering period is normally open up to eight days prior to the lunch date.


How many weeks are included in one order?
The amount of days and weeks included in an ordering period can vary. However, typically you place your order for a whole calendar month.


How can I view the lunch menu?
After you sign in, select Order History in the top tab bar, then “view order details”. You will see a list of the lunches you have already purchased for each student in the account.  Additionally, you can select the Order tab in the top tab bar to view the purchases in calendar format for each student. Simply advance to the desired month, and click on “Review my purchased meals” at the top of the calendar.


What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and bank check cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo.  For School related accounts, we also accept personal checks.


If I pay by personal check where do I send my check for payment?
Make checks payable to Schoolhouse Fare and mail to 919 Kushiwah Creek Drive, Charleston, SC 29412.  Your payment by personal check should be sent within 2 days of placing your order. Any check that is returned from the bank unpaid for any reason will be subject to a $25.00 returned check fee.


Can I store my credit card?
Schoolhouse Fare does not store credit card information. However, you have the option to store your credit card for use on future purchases within the secure payment system. In addition, your Schoolhouse Fare account address is pre-populated on the credit card payment page.


Is there a minimum order fee? A minimum order fee of $1.00 may be assessed for total monthly purchases that are under $15.00


What is the policy for receiving a refund for lunches that have already been purchased and not used?
Please note that credits are not typically issued for missed lunches due to illness. In the event of a prolonged illness or family emergency, contact Schoolhouse Fare 24 hours prior to the scheduled lunch delivery to cancel the lunch and receive a credit. Credits issued by Schoolhouse Fare and not used to purchase additional meals can be refunded by submitting a request to support@schoolhousefare.com. Refunds that are submitted by Schoolhouse Fare will be for the credit amount less a 15% processing fee.  Please note credits will only be processed within the current school year and will not carry over into the following school year(s).

What do you do with my transaction?
We use it solely to conduct business on your behalf for lunches purchased by you.


How secure is my online transaction?
The highest available – we offer 128 bit encryption with SSL / secure socket layer.  Our site security is provided through Global Sign, one of the most trusted names in SSL Authority. Additionally, our order page and credit card payment is processed through Payline Data which is secured by a GeoTrust SSL certificate with encrypted data security.


Is there a Service Fee for using this program?
There is no service fee to use our program.


Who do I call if I have any questions about the food service?

If I have a concern about food allergies, who can I talk to about ingredients in the lunches?
Please contact support@schoolhousefare.com for the individual restaurant's contact person to inquire about ingredients and allergies.


Do I need a specific browser to use this program?
For full functionality and best viewing, use one of the following browsers: Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Firefox, Safari, or Google Chrome.
